It doesn’t always seem so, but normal, rational Americans are winning the fight to protect our Second Amendment. Louisiana is on the verge of becoming the 28th state to approve some form of constitutional carry, check out the details here.
In a rare show of integrity, the Nineth Circuit refused to be manipulated by the State of California and declined to rehear a case challenging the gun ads ban en banc, stating the ban was likely unconstitutional and remanded it back to the district court for re-examination. California legislators have come up with a wonderful new idea to benefit law-abiding California gun owners. AB 3067 will require insurers to collect information from applicants for homeowner’s or renter’s insurance as to whether guns are present on the property and if so, how those guns are stored. The bill would further require insurers to report that information to the state. See the details here.
As we’ve just celebrated Presidents’ Day it’s appropriate to see what Washington and Lincoln had to say about ensuring the survival of our country. Their words are very relevant today as explained by Scott S. Powell in “On Presidents’ Day, Washington and Lincoln Speak to Us from their Graves”.
