Weekly Roundup # 74
A collection of interesting articles you may not have seen by authors you may not have read
The Weekly Roundup is a feature offered to my readers in addition to my regular articles. The Roundup is a collection of mostly recent articles you probably haven’t seen by writers you may not have read. The intent is to provide some interesting reading for you while providing some exposure for some great writers. Enjoy!
North Carolina was on the road to becoming the 30th constitutional carry state but instead took a slight detour. AWR Hawkins has the story in North Carolina’s Democrat Governor Josh Stein Vetoes Constitutional Carry.
Several groups ban together in the fight for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and shotguns. AWR Hawkins has the details in American Suppressor Association, Gun Rights, and Medical Groups Urge Senate GOP to End NFA Tax Scheme.
Many of you likely attend church regularly and some are probably involved in your church’s security team. Kris P. Moloney has an excellent breakdown of what happened in the attempted church attack that was stopped by voluntary security team members at a church in Michigan last weekend. Check out the details in Church Active Shooter Prevention Saves Lives in Wayne, Michigan (June 2025).
Lee Williams has been reporting on the persecution of an innocent American citizen by an out of control ATF since the man was first wrongfully prosecuted with the help of this rogue agency. Williams brings us up to speed on the appeal process in ATF Prepping the Same Untruths, Toy Guns for Adamiak’s Appeal. This could happen to anyone; the ATF should be abolished.
To end on a lighter note, Steven F. Hayward brings us humor that will be appreciated by Braveheart fans as well as fans of the President in an article written by Anthony Lucido titled Braveheart: DNC Style.
The Weekly Roundup now includes a humorous meme to lighten the day. The weekly meme is chosen from dozens posted in the Week in Pictures originally created by Steven Hayward but now carried on by his colleague John Hinderaker of the Powerline blog. Powerline features excellent reporting and analysis of American politics and culture. I’ve been reading the work of Hayward and his colleagues for over fifteen years.
Enjoy this week’s meme.
